Chocolate Brownie
Can you guess the hidden ingredient? Brownie points if you can…
I made this for my family and got them to guess what was in it. None of them guessed sweet potato and it tasted amazing! They couldn’t taste sweet potato at all.
Healthy, delicious and quick to make.
Also a great way to hide more veggies in your food for children.
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups of grated sweet potato
- 1 cup cacao or 1 cup of Dutch Chocolate Isalean Shake (See More)
- ½ cup of olive oil
- ½ cup of honey
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- ½ tsp of bicarb soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp of coconut flour
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Scrape into a lined tray 30cm x 20cm and bake at 160 deg for approx 20 mins or until mix springs back. Be careful not to over cook.
Caramel Topping (optional)
1 1/3 cup of fresh dates
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of coconut milk
2 Vanilla pods
Pinch of sea salt
Mix all ingredients together and add on top on the brownie once cooled.
